Missouri River(below Holter Dam)

Cold, clear water spilling from the base of Holter Dam creates one of the most storied tailwater fisheries in the country. From the dam down through Wolf Creek, Craig, and Cascade, the Mighty Mo glides through limestone canyons and open prairie, holding wild rainbows and browns that average 16+ inches and don't surprise anyone when they push past twenty. It's big, broad, deceptively powerful water — easy to read, hard to master, and beautiful in every season.
